Get to know Brad & Ashley riddle

Senior Pastor

Pastor Brad is a third generation pastor to come out of the Riddle family and the South Omaha Church of God. He’s preceded by his grandfather Reverend Doctor Ronald C. Riddle, his father Reverend Ronald S. Riddle, and his mother Reverend Patty Riddle. He cut his teeth on the church pews and was called to preach at a young age. He dreamed of being “tall enough to see over the pulpit so he could preach.”

At the age of 12 Pastor Brad began playing drums in the church. At 15 he began teaching his first Sunday School class. Brad met his future bride, Ashley, at the church when she was just 15. Before they even got married they started pastoring the youth group.

Pastor Brad and Ashley have served in many capacities over the years: Sunday School teacher, worship team member, cleaning/maintenance crew, small group leader, groundskeeper, social media team, nursery teacher, transportation ministry, drama ministry leader, Youth Board and Girls Board members, Executive Assistant and Associate Pastor. They’ve traveled many times with groups of children and teens to Youth Camp and Winterfest, where they would preach and perform dramas.

Countless hours were spent at the church on the weekends with their boys, cleaning, doing yard work, painting and maintenance. It comes to no surprise that after many years of service God would elevate them to Senior Pastors of Heritage Church! For countless years Pastor Brad and Ashley have envisioned pastoring their own church. It has been exciting to see how God orchestrated Heritage Church and how He has had His hand on it the entire time.

Pastor Brad and Ashley married in 2006 and have three sons, Cameron, Collin and Cooper. They love to watch movies together, play football and basketball, go for walks, have bonfires in the backyard.
